Sunday Brunch here is delicious on my first visit to the Tavern 4 & 5. Reuben Benedict is combining two favorite tastes into one & beautifully presented.
Sooooo yummy on my first visit, a 5 star for the pretty flowers, plate appeal & service with a touch of sincere cheer.
If you are looking for an enjoyable Sunday brunch, outdoor seating is a plus in the summer season so come for that before we burrow back inside. -

Our family wanted to meet at a central location and needed a place that was good for groups and kids and accepts reservations and the Tavern fulfilled those needs.
We tried a lot of foods:
Cheese Curds - excellent
Deviled Eggs - very good
Tater Tots - good but really mashed potatoes coated with Panko and fried
Braised Pork Ribs - great flavor but tough
Grass Fed Mushroom Burger - very good
Fish and Chips - very good
Mahi Mahi Tacos - good but nothing special
Reuben - excellent and very large
We had told the server it was my grandsons birthday and she brought out a sundae. We didn't order that and thought it was complimentary. But I was charged $5 on the bill. That takes away from the experience. I didn't notice until we were home. -

My husband had the hot dish and loved it and already said I have to make it when we get home. The server was excellent.
Appetizers
Happy hour portions of
fire roasted chicken wings
Onion rings
The onion rings were excellent
The chicken wings were a little under down for my liking and lacked a little flavor
Dinner
The hot dish
House made tator tots with mushroom soup and corn flavor was excellent and my husband loved it
The meatball loaf
The potatoes were cold but the meatloaf was very good
The sangria wasn't available so I had my first ever Moscow mule it was strawberry rubarb and it was out of this world
When I am in town we will be back -

Can I say Holy Cow this place is amazing!! Once I seen all those positive food reviews I just knew this was the place for us to stop. Overlooking all photos submitted I was able to choose what I wanted to sink my teeth into and that was the famous Chict Pot Pie yeaaa I so hope we can come visit this location again soon

Happened on this place while out on this side of town. By the amount of cars in the parking lot and the number of people enjoying the patio we thought we might have stumbled onto something good. We sure did! There was a 20 min wait for a table but the food and service was worth it. I ordered the steak salad and my husband the chicken sandwich with an upgrade to the house made Tator Tots. All were delicious! We will be back for sure.
